The Messages of education was spreading like the gospel of god and the people were thrilled that the education was coming to the door steps of their villages to transform them as harbinger of development & prosperity. As more schools were set -up the need for trained teachers became more and more acute and Training of teachers became an important area. Through another trust Mr. T.M.Sheth, set up two colleges for training of teachers for primary and secondary education.

But for the Saraswatam education to girls would have remained dormant even now. The greatest beneficiaries of the trust schools are girls. On its part Saraswatam established a girl’s school in  Naliya where even today after Xth in the saraswatam school the parents do not send their girls for X1th & X11th to a co.ed school.

For the care of young & nursing mothers through projects like “Snehal” & Matru Mandals an attempt is made to focus on behavior change to enhance reproductive and child health status in communities

Today, Saraswatam is educating approximately 4500 children of who one third are girls (over 1500) at Secondary & Higher Secondary level. Primary education is compulsory and undertaken by the State. Pre-primary care. being the basic foundation in education, is being taken up by Saraswatam on a substantial scale.
